Our last event was Starting from Scratch – Big Ideas From The Beginning, on October 7 at Hub Ottawa.
With limited resources, time constraints, and too few truly innovative new tools to jump start your process, challenges we seek to solve can often follow a familiar formula. That is: take little hope, add conventional thinking that has yet to yield progress, subtract hours of sleep lost over worrying how to make it all happen, and arrive at your final solution of frustration and “good enough.”
Caroline McNaught is Brand Manager at PageCloud, an Ottawa startup and TechCrunch Disrupt Battlefield finalist, where “good enough” and conventional approaches were abandoned in the pursuit of real innovation, solutions, and change. PageCloud is a product for which the greatest differentiator lies in the ‘how’ rather than the ‘what.’ That approach is what can set a good solution apart from a bandaid fix, and can set you apart from your competition. What if you could start from scratch? What if doing so wasn’t so intimidating?
Join us for an interactive evening of problem solving that applies thinking big to even the smallest of details. Come equipped with a challenge you’re facing, and rediscover how rewarding and exciting it is to return to the root of the problem…and solving it.
